Entrusted: A new teaching series
It’s easy to feel a sense of entitlement about our finances — about life — especially when we work so hard to get where we are. Still, God reminds us in Scripture that we are not entitled, but entrusted — with a finite amount of resources for a finite length of time. How important it is that we try to manage those God-given gifts and talents wisely and with thankful hearts!
The resources God has entrusted to us are not infinite, yet the needs before us sure seem to be. It is common to feel overwhelmed by the many and vast needs of the world around us and hold back, waiting for a more “perfect opportunity” or time to come along later — an opportunity that rarely ever comes.
What might it look like to be more intentional, generous, gracious and trusting with these precious resources? How might you be faithful with what God has entrusted to you now, so that you are ready for God to entrust you with bigger, better opportunities down the road?
