Does God talk to you?
Sounds like a strange question, doesn’t it? Some would say, “Of course he does!” Others wonder if it's all just in their heads. Yet we all have questions about our lives, and many of us would really like to hear what God has to say about them. How do we do that?
It’s an important question, because communication is the foundation to any relationship. God designed us to be able to talk as well as listen. The Bible says that God wants to have a relationship with us, which means that He wants to communicate with us.
We get to know God by talking and especially by listening. God gives us one way to talk to Him, through prayer. Thankfully, God has several ways that He chooses to communicate with us. If we know what to listen (or look) for, our relationship with God will only deepen. The more ways we are comfortable hearing from God, the more confident we can be that we are living in the will of God.
Join us as we discuss and carefully examine the different ways that God talks to us today, and how to be most ready and receptive to Him as God talks through…
