My Everest

The older we get, the more we come to realize that there are some things that are really tough to get past in life. We all have weak points in our character, but we don't have to let them defeat us. In this series we'll discover how to embrace change or even pain; to make and keep commitments; to trust God to provide and to stare down fear.

What mountains do you need to conquer in YOUR life?

| mīˈev(ə)rəst | a phrase used for something that is exceptionally challenging or difficult to accomplish.

The older we get, the more we come to realize that there are some things that are really tough to get past in life. Our youthful optimism can get beaten down as we run up against mountains that won't yield to our best efforts to be all that God created us to be.

We all have weak points in our character, but we don’t have to let them defeat us. Join us as we, with God’s help, discover how to embrace change or even pain; to make and keep commitments; to trust God to provide and to stare down fear.

Taking on the "Everests" of life are not easy; oftentimes we would rather just give up. However, the Bible claims that God gives us the strength to climb our mountains and even the faith to tell them to move out of our way.
