on hiatus for summer — to restart August 2017
If you've lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, it may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. You‘ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. That’s the reason for GriefShare, a group led by those who understand what you are experiencing, designed to offer support for people grieving the loss of someone close.
GriefShare meets once a week. You'll watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects, then you and the other participants will have an opportunity to reflect on what you've seen and talk about what is going on in your own life. During the week you'll be encouraged to use a workbook for further personal study of the grieving process and to use journaling as a means to help sort out your feelings.
Because we believe that true healing from a hurt as deep as the death of a loved one must be built on a relationship with Jesus, GriefShare helps point you toward Christ as the only lasting source of healing.
