David was born and raised in rural Georgia where he attended a Bible-based church. In college at Georgia Southern University, David's faith became personal to him and he recommitted his life to Christ. After graduating with a degree in journalism from GSU, David felt a call to full time ministry and moved to Arizona to help with a church plant. While receiving his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, David served in several churches prior to coming to Grace in the areas of discipleship, Christian formation, outreach and missions. He is married to Teresa, a native of Peru. They are parents to Isaac.
David is passionate about introducing people to Christ and helping them find their true identities in Him. He has seen and experienced the radical transformation that Christ brings to people's lives, and wants Grace to be a church where people discover Christ's love for themselves and are equipped to take Christ's love to Tucson and the world.
